The mere mention of accounting and tax preparation are enough to make some people nervous. Money is still widely thought of taboo, so managing funds takes on another level of psychological intimidation for many small business owners.

Levulis Ledgers is a different kind of accounting firm. With a core desire to be friendly, approachable, and in some ways, a bit taboo themselves, the brand lends a playful tone to an otherwise stuffy and serious industry. At the core of the brand is the guiding motto “Stack that Bread.” It became the foundation for the brand image as well as a suite of custom food-money pun illustrations done in a classic 1950’s style.

We worked with the founder and owner, Mona Levulis, to create the core brand guidelines, voice and brand direction and implement the design across a range of brand touchpoints including: editorial photography, marketing material and more.
